The Babadook (2014)

A single mother named Amelia (Essie Davis) are still feeling lost after six years of her husband's death. During that time he was struggling to care for and provide discipline to her only child, Samuel (Noah Wiseman) that he could not control.

Samuel dream plagued by monsters that he believes will come to kill them both. After he was read by his mother from a book called The Babadook, Samuel said that Babadook are creatures that appear in his dreams. Samuel began to spiral out of control, making Amelia really afraid of his behavior. Finally, at that moment, Amelia began to feel the presence of evil creatures around him. It makes Amelia slowly realized that his son had been warned from the beginning.
